Experts convene at National Cancer Institute’s Think Tank on Advancing Gastric Cancer Prevention

The best available experience from all the continents was discussed. Although the event was targeted to the US authorities responsible for cancer prevention, this was a unique opportiniity to communicate the experience between the participants. The activities in Europe were braodly discussed; these are GISTAR, EUROHELICAN and TOGAS projects. Professor Marcis Leja was inivited to cover gastric cancer screening activities in Europe by a particular emphasis to TOGAS project.
